#46 - What The Dog Saw by Malcolm Gladwell
This should, by rights, have been my last book of the year.
Gladwell’s Tipping Point and Outliers were two of my favourite books of the year and he should, by rights, have had a chance to close things down for 2009 - a prize of sorts in recognition of his good work.
What The Dog Saw collects some of his favourite pieces from the New Yorker and, probably because of this, was far more uneven than his themed books. Still, there were some excellent chapters and some real food for thought.
f you’ve not hopped on the Gladwell train yet I’d start at Tipping Point before passing by Outliers, Blink and What The Dog saw in that order.
